Welcome to my web site.

I was asked to construct this site as part of a course concerned with web site development and it seemed a good opportunity to record some of the changes that have taken place in my life over the past year.

Raised in Jarrow, County Durham but my roots are now in a small ex mining village, Cudworth, in Yorkshire

If it gives you a chance to share my life and plans for retirement .I will share my work as a headteacher at Silkstone Primary School, my family, my  home in Cudworth and my hobbies caravanning, gardening and cruising.

You never stop learning and the chance to offer and opportunity to listen to your views about local issues.

If you can learn from the mistakes I have made then this site has been worthwhile.
